World of Warcraft’s Rarest Mounts

There are a lot of rare mounts in the Wide World of Warcraft, but here are a few that stand out.

World of Warcraft’s Rarest Mounts

Have you been thinking about having to buy WoW gold so you can afford the game’s rarest WoW mounts? Then there is a look at some of the rarest finds that you can come across, though it won’t be an easy task for you to find them.

Thundering Cobalt Cloud Serpent

For the dragon fans out there, this is pretty darn close to getting the real thing in World of Warcraft. It will, however, require you to participate in raids. The WoW mount itself is a Nalak drop, with a mere 0.6% drop rate to its name. You may have heard rumblings that using the Mogu Rune of Fate can help you increase the odds of getting one. Sadly, it isn’t enough for you to contemplate even using one since the chances aren’t increased that well. You will also need to be invested with the Order of the Cloud Serpent if you want to mount it since there is a spell that you need to unlock. Welcome to the skies if you are dedicated enough to go through all of this.

Silent Glider

The Silent Glider’s drop rate is even lower, standing at a 0.58% chance of you getting one. With such a low drop rate, you can understand why many players are floating around on the glider. If you wish to try and get one, you will have to find rare Soundless and beat them. Since they only drop loot once a day, you can expect to be putting the hours in for this WoW mount.

Solar Spirehawk

World of Warcraft is certainly not without its eye-catching mounts, and the Solare Spirehawk is yet another example of this. However majestic it may look, you will be looking at a shallow drop rate for it. You are facing a drop rate of 0.03% for this mount to drop as loot. If you have often looked to the skies hoping to see one and haven’t come across them, then you now have a better idea why. If you are going to try and possess your own, then beating Rukhmar along with a significantly low drop rate will have to be contended with.

Deathcharger’s Reins

If you want to delve into the truly rare mounts, then this is one to look at. You are looking at less than a single percentage where its drop rate is concerned, and you can only get t from the boss in Stratholme, Baron Rivendere. The mount itself is the only mount in the game playing an undead horse for the Alliance. But the method of finding it at least mixes it up from finding the typical way of finding WoW mounts.

Ashes of Al’ar

We have seen our fair share of flying WoW mounts that are hard to take our eyes off, and the Ashes of Al’ar arguably tops the list. This phoenix is available as a drop from The Eye’s final boss. As the boss’ loyal pet, you will find that it has a better chance of dropping than, say, the Deathcharger, but it is still going to be hard to get. It was originally introduced to serve as a memorial to a dedicated World of Warcraft player, Ezra Chatterton, who had helped the developers design an NPC known as Ahab Wheathoof.

Black Qiraji Resonating Crystal

When you are out looking for the rearrest mounts in World of Warcraft, you will often find this at the top of the list. Why do you ask? This is because it was only available during a particular in-game event. Your objective was to get to the Scepter of the Shifting Sands event, though it has since been rebuilt. Because we have seen Silithus opening up the battleground, we can no longer get our hands on this mount. Since the Gates of Ahn’iraj were opened, we are going to struggle even more to even have a chance of getting this Qiraji mount. It even came in blue, red, and green colors to add a bit more variety to how rare it was.

So now you know about some of the rarest mounts that the game has to offer you. As some are unavailable or so rare that you are tempted to start pulling your hair out, you may need to look into finding WoW mounts for sale. However, this is again another notorious tactic since WoW mounts are renowned for selling at very high prices that will see you part with a lot of your real-world money. If you do have the hard-earned cash to spend on such things, then go ahead and pull the trigger on your World of Warcraft mount of choice to be the envy of all your peers.
