Want something cool on your wrist? – definitely build one of DIY watches. You may find a makerbot watch worth attention. It is build arround Atmega328 microcontroller with Arduino bootloader – so programming, adding features is as easy as tinkering with standard Arduino.

Watch has round PCB shape with 12 SMT LEDs to indicate hours plus 12 LEDs to indicate minutes with 5 minute steps and additionally four LEDs to indicate minutes between 5 minute steps. Watch is equipped with bootloader and ISP headers, piezo buzzer and three push buttons. Want more stuff – you may check new revision of watch with lipo battery, charging chip on board, micro usb for charging and dedicated RTC IC.
