You always dreaming of own a scanner that can scan with infrared and ultrasonic, like those you’re normally watching in the movies?
Kill the daydreaming and start to make yourself an interactive infrared and ultrasonic scanner.
Here is a scanner that can scan a 180 degree area from 5 to 21 inches away, and will display the information on a color LCD.
The scanner uses the standard hobby servo to move the sensors and a color LCD screen to display the information.
The ATTMEGA32 is the main core for this project, which:
- Control the servo
- Gather information from the sensor
- Place the information on the LCD
Although the hobby servo, infrared sensor, and ultrasonic sensor all run at 5V, but this doesn’t cause a main problem to the output.
For your information, we use the nokia cell phone screen for the scanner’s LCD, which the 1.2″x1.2″ size fit perfectly into the box. About the colors, we choose the 256 colors instead of 4096 colors display for an easy interface. So, Let’s keep yourself busy with this amazing scanner today.
