Building a remote sensor network with Nanode

Nanode is a modified Arduino board that comes with standard network interface and RFM12B radio module. This makes Arduino pretty powerful and portable. Wickeddevice have started a series of tutorial posts on how to build a remote sensor gateway that would collect data from multiple Nanodes and publish it to internet of things web application.

Nanode gateway allows not only to view sensor data but also activate devices remotely. For internet of things connectivity they have chosen xively which allows free basic account to get things working.
